Ending Tenancy Early • Charge: For agreeing to end your tenancy early. • Amount: Covers any loss of money or reasonable costs incurred by the landlord or agent. • Note: Tenants are liable to pay rent until the agreed end date, even if they move out earlier, unless a new tenant is found. Changing or Transferring Tenancy • Charge: For changing a term in your tenancy or transferring it to someone else. • Amount: Up to £50 can be charged. • Note: You can be charged more than £50 if the landlord proves the change costs more than this. Damage to Property • Charge: If damage is caused to the property. • Amount: The landlord may keep part or all the deposit or seek further costs through legal means. Lost Keys or Fobs • Charge: The cost of replacing lost keys or fobs. • Amount: Based on the reasonable cost of replacement.
